One man’s trash is another man’s Analysis

"Authors Note: I read a book called Trash by Andy Mulligan. It was one of the worst books I have ever read."

What do you think of when I say trash? That old smelly stuff that is left outside of your house? You probably do. On the other hand this book called Trash by Andy Mulligan is among the most boring books I have ever read. Whenever I would read it I would fall asleep from lack of action and detail. Even though the back of this book made it sound very adventurous and action packed. Well it was about the opposite.

Another thing that could me off guard was the lack of character description. I felt like I had to observe every word to get a picture in my mind of the characters. I’m a picture kind of person. Pictures to me give a great description of the person. The only reason I picked this book was because of the cover. It looked like a very fun book to read. Now I know to never judge a book by its cover.

I only can think of one thing that was worth the reading of this book would be the ending. The detail was superb I absolutely loved it. Though it wasn’t a good ending as in the main character almost died. The sentence fluency was possibly the best part. Even though there were a few complicated sentences in the end along with some language.

Until I read a better book this will remain in my head as one of the most boring books I have ever read. On the other hand don’t let the cover fool you. You will regret it. Finally I would like to conclude that this book is not worth my time. Maybe you have a different opinion. If you do please read it.

Keep your Guard up.

Authors Note: I read a book called The Guardian by Joyce Sweeney. I did a analysis on it.

Reading books are fun, but what if you can't get them out of your head? This book The Guardian by Joyce Sweeney was one of the greatest books I have ever read. The story itself is told by the main character himself; his point of view. This is the greatest reason why I loved this book; it makes the reader feel like they’re watching the whole thing go down.

This book is an amazing book for kids like me. Even though it does include some language that is used that isn’t bleeped out. But that aside this book had me thinking what would I have done in his situation? Being trapped by an evil money loving woman isn’t my cup of tea. The amazing amount of action, adventure, and mystery is exactly what I like. From Murder to kidnappings this book has it all. I feel like this book was made for people like me to read. The story in general was perfect at first everything in the story was terrible for this kid. Then something amazing happens. His who life is great! He has it all. Then He loses it again. I would repeat constantly and I like that sort of thing. In addition I like to think what happened after the book. What happened to the main character and the antagonist? That’s why I love this book.

Likewise this book had it all from detail to plot this book was great. For once I really enjoy reading. Finally I think that this book would be great if you’re on the mature side of things. If you are looking for a book that will have you thinking differently pick this book. With all that it presents to you your sure to love something in it.

"We are the most powerful military force in the history of man. Every fight is our fight. Because what happens over here matters over there. We don't get to sit one out. Learning to use the tools of modern warfare is the difference between the prospering of your people, and utter destruction. We can't give you freedom. But we can give you the know-how to acquire it. And that, my friends, is worth more than a whole army base of steel. Sure it matters who's got the biggest stick, but it matters a helluva lot more who's swinging it. This is a time for heroes. A time for legends. History is written by the victors. Let's get to work." -General Sheperd

America is the most powerful military force. It's true. Most wars we do get involved in. I really like this quote because it makes me feel proud to be an American. Knowing that we are probably that safest and toughest country makes me feel good.

A Journey through Time

Authors Note: This is a clocks journey through life. Getting moved from place to place.

As a clock I mostly sit up top of the room and have people look at me every so often. Every 6 months a man might come to fix something that is wrong with me. I just sit there and tell people what time it is. Very rarely there might be a fight or a disturbance. It is interesting to see these people come and go then come back the next day.

I use to be in a church listening to people praise Gods and Goddesses. Every Mass at exactly 4:30PM every Saturday and Sunday. New faces almost every mass. A mix of people. Some tall some wide. After awhile exactly 13 years and 56 days on exactly the 13 hour since the church had been built. I noticed a decrease of people less and less each time. Exactly 1 year and 32 days the church closed down. Everything originally in the church was gone I was the only thing left. 23 hours later at around 11:00PM. Someone took me off the wall. I’m not sure who. They took my batteries out.

When I woke from my sleep I saw a man at what looked to be like a flea market he paid about 10 dollars for me. He looked decent a nice tie and a good looking suit. He set me down in his back seat of his sedan. Then we drove off. When we got there it looked like we were at a school. All the kids running in the building as the bell rang.

About 15 minutes and 32 seconds later I was on a wall in what looked like a classroom. The teacher had seen better days as she stared me down tell the man to move me to the left and right. Finally after 45 seconds she told the man to leave. After about what was 34 minutes the students came in and the teacher assigned them their seats. A few of the students asked the teacher how old I was. She just snapped her fingers at the children to make them pay attention.

Nothing happened for 12 years. Then it was that time as the man took me down and through me in the garbage. All I could think about was the time as a saw a big metal vehicle take the trash I was thrown in and dump it in some holding bay. Then I prayed to father time that I may not be seeing the end before me. But if it was I was ready for it. As I heard crunching noises and notice that the walls were closing in. Then everything turned white.

When I awoke father time in the gears took me and hung me on the wall of his time and space house. I was at the most peace I have ever been in just hanging there. It was the best feeling ever.

Favorite Sport

Authors Note: Our topic was Our favorite sport. So I picked Paintball because of its fast paced action.

My favorite sport would have to be paintball. It's fun it hurts and it's entertaining. But it can be very expensive too. First you need to get a paintball gun. They can be up to $70 - $300. Then you need protection like a helmet, boots, pads, and a paintball vest. Unless of course you want a bunch of tiny balls coming at you at 200mph. That will leave a nice big permanent bruze on your forehead. Then you can find a place that hosts paintball games or you could find people you want to play with. The rules are simple don't get shot and then shoot other people. When your hit your out you can't do anything after that until the game is over.
